The town is situated to the north of the South Downs, west of the Adur Valley, and south of the River Adur and Shoreham Beach on the English Channel. Shoreham is centrally positioned along the urban stretch of the English south coast, roughly midway between the city of Brighton and Hove to the east and the town of Worthing to the west. The town spans an area of 2,430 acres (980 hectares).

Seaford is a town in East Sussex, England, situated to the east of Newhaven and west of Eastbourne. The local football club, Seaford Town, plays at the Crouch Playing Field and competes in the Sussex County League Division Two.

Seaford boasts two golf courses: Seaford Golf Club, located on Firle Road, and Seaford Head Golf Course, which offers views of the coastline and the South Downs.

Littlehampton

Littlehampton is a town, seaside resort, and civil parish located in the Arun District of West Sussex, England. Situated on the eastern bank of the River Arun’s mouth, it lies along the English Channel. Newhaven

Newhaven is a port town in the Lewes district of East Sussex, England, situated at the mouth of the River Ouse.

The town emerged in the Middle Ages when the nearby port of Seaford began to dry up, necessitating the establishment of a new port – hence it’s name. A sheltered harbour was constructed in the mid-16th century, followed by a breakwater in the late 18th century to ensure continued sea access. Newhaven’s significance grew with the arrival of the railway in 1847 and the commencement of regular cross-Channel ferry services to Dieppe. Although these services have diminished in the 21st century, Newhaven still maintains regular ferry operations and remains an important freight terminal.
